Where she really comes alive is being able to take her designs into creative projects, inventing her own methods as a necessity to produce finished masterpieces. She sees her designs vividly in her mind so is always determined to ensure the finished product reflects her vision, accurately.

Manic Mugs – Ceramic Studios Edinburgh

During lockdown, back in the COVID years, our artist went to work creating her Manic Mugs! They are a ceramic mug, designed with a very Picasso feel but uniquely Susan! You will find some Manic Mugs on your welcome tray on arrival and you can use them. On our display cabinet in the lobby, you will find these and her popular stoneware mugs for sale.

To keep up with demand, our Artist now has her own Kiln. She has been enabled, to create her own hand built stoneware mugs for our guests. Her stoneware mugs incorporate her own construction inventions. Edinburgh Pottery Studios were so impressed that our resident artist is regularly commissioned to run Pottery Classes. Susan enjoys teaching her own proprietary methods to her students at the Pottery Studios Edinburgh.
