2023 – Update
In 2023, after a tough battle for survival during those Covid years, we were very excited to welcome a surprise Quality Assurance inspection by the Scottish Tourist Board. We are most pleased to have achieved a 95% score for our 5 Star category – our highest to date! We were told that after Susan finishes her Frieze in our new dining room, we qualify for the 5 Star GOLD rating!
The Scottish Tourist Board have been so supportive of our industry and we are so grateful to be an active part of our Edinburgh community.

2025 – Update
In late 2024, we were advised that The Scottish Tourist Board will slowly close down their Quality Inspections of all properties and all attractions. We were very sad to hear this news and have now been directed to AA for all future Quality Assurance inspections and Star Ratings.
